Nikolas Kos

Nikolas Kos is the Global Director of Finance at Blacklane. In this role, Nikolas ensures compliance with pertinent financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance mandates on a global scale. He plays a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and controls to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in financial operations. Nikolas is dedicated to continuously optimizing all finance operations and end-to-end processes as Blacklane scales globally at a rapid pace.

Prior to joining Blacklane in 2020, Nikolas held various positions, including leadership roles at both market and headquarters levels in a stock-market listed international FMCG corporation. Throughout these assignments, he handled diverse finance functions, ranging from strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting to accounting and commercial business partnering. In these capacities, Nikolas demonstrated his capacity to build, develop, and lead strong teams that drive operational excellence and business growth. He also gained experience working for different audit firms across sectors, ensuring effective internal controls, accurate financial statements, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Nikolas maintains a passion for physical fitness and mental well-being, enjoying activities such as trail running in nature and practicing yoga. Nikolas holds a diploma from Freie Universität Berlin, an LL.M. from the Universität des Saarlandes, a Global Executive MBA from HHL Leipzig & EADA Barcelona, as well as the CESGA qualification
