With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Markus Busuttil is one of the leading experts for tax incentives for research. He has the expertise and experience to apply the statutory R&D definition optimally with regard to the individual framework conditions of a company. As a doctor of engineering and the first independent expert on research allowances, he understands the technical complexities and knows how to translate them into the language of grant applications.
Prior to founding Busuttil & Company, Dr. Busuttil supported clients from industry as well as listed multinational groups and private equity funds as a consultant at Deloitte and the MPA Group in the UK. Dr. Markus Busuttil studied mechanical engineering in Hanover and Wales. After successfully completing his studies, he completed his doctorate at a collaborative research center between the University of Birmingham and Rolls-Royce.
