Desiree is a leading expert in sustainable finance with over 25 years of experience in transforming financial markets. Known for exposing the dark side of ESG, she is a sought-after media contributor, advisor, and keynote speaker.

As the former Group Sustainability Officer at DWS, she uncovered major greenwashing, leading to regulatory investigations, a police raid, and the largest SEC greenwashing fine to date. Her whistleblowing sent shockwaves through the finance industry, driving greater efforts to combat greenwashing.

She advises financial institutions, NGOs, and regulators such as the FCA and MAS, lectures at Cambridge University, and advocates for greater transparency and accountability in sustainable finance. Previously, she held senior roles at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and Zais Group, contributing to innovative financial product development.
