Axel Neumann

Axel Neumann is Chief Strategy Officer at Mondu, an innovative B2B payments company based in Berlin, responsible for strategy implementation and the development of new business models. He has around 15 years of experience in financial services and e-commerce. Prior to joining Mondu in January 2022, Axel held various leadership positions at Zalando, most recently as Director Corporate Development, where he drove strategic growth initiatives together with the co-CEOs. Axel began his career as a management consultant in the Frankfurt office of Oliver Wyman after earning his master's degree from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. He is also a trained banker (Commerzbank, J.P. Morgan).
