Carina Denker

Carina started her professional career in tax consulting and auditing, mainly handling SME mandates. She looks back on almost 15 years of professional experience. In 2016, she moved from consulting to industry, where she has held various positions in family businesses, AGs and startups. Currently, Carina is Head of Finance at Clinomic, a medical startup from Aachen, where she is responsible for Accounting, Controlling, Treasury and Tax. Especially in the past years, she has built up efficient finance teams and modern finance processes "from scratch" in startups. In doing so, she attaches great importance to constantly moving out of her own comfort zone: Leaving one's own finance silo and using the potential of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
