Steffen Pyka is Head of Finance at trivago and, in addition to the classic financial topics of accounting, taxes, controlling and financial reporting, is also responsible for purchasing. Together with his team, he ensures that trivago meets the complex reporting and compliance requirements of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. A particular focus for him is the further automation of financial processes and the continuous development of the internal control system. In addition, he supports the various business units in achieving their strategic objectives. Previously, he worked in auditing at Deloitte and at the construction equipment manufacturer Caterpillar.
